Seductive French Kiss Tourtière
Dive into a sinfully delicious French Canadian meat pie that's sure to arouse your tastebuds. Our Tourtière seduces with juicy ground pork, creamy mashed potatoes, and a flirtatious blend of spices, all encased in a teasingly tender double crust.

Preheat your cauldron to 450 degrees F (230 degrees C).
Tease your potato with a fork, then bake on a sheet until it surrenders, about 50-60 minutes. Let it cool off from the heat, then peel and mash with desire.
Fire up again, this time to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
In a large skillet, combine your mashed potato with the ground pork, whispered onions, spices, and water. Bring to a simmer and let it thicken until it begs for mercy, at least 1 hour.
Dress a deep-dish pie plate in one pastry layer. Spoon the pork and potato mixture onto this base. Cover it gently with the second pastry layer, sealing the edges with a kiss.
Brush the top with the beaten egg and give it a blush of paprika. Carve a tiny vent for it to breathe.
Bake until golden and irresistible, about 50 minutes. If it gets too hot, cover it gently with foil.
Serve warm, and let the flavors seduce your senses.
