Sultry Shrimps Saganaki
Embrace the allure of Greek cuisine with this tempting starter. Perfect for igniting the flames of a romantic dinner or to savor as a tantalizing meze with a glass of ouzo. Once reserved for my dining-out experiences, mastering this dish at home has been both satisfying and deliciously seductive.

In a large saucepan, bring about 2 inches of water to a boiling embrace. Add the shrimp, letting them bathe until they're just covered. Boil for 5 seductive minutes, then drain, cherishing the liquid, and set them aside.
Heat about 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a saucepan, as if lightly tracing your fingertips across skin. Add the onions; cook and stir until they soften, like a gentle whisper.
Stir in the parsley, wine, tomatoes, garlic powder, and the remaining olive oil. Let it simmer, stirring occasionally for about 30 minutes, until the sauce thickens into a tight embrace.
Once the shrimps have cooled to a tantalizing touch, first tease off the legs by pinching them, then undress them of their shells, leaving only the head and tail, exposed.
As the sauce thickens to desire, stir in the reserved shrimp stock and the naked shrimp. Bring to a simmer, and cook for about 5 teasing minutes.
Introduce the feta cheese, then remove from the heat. Wait in anticipation until the cheese begins to melt into a confession of desire. Serve warm and enjoy the sinful pleasure.
