Temptress Blueberry French Toast
Indulge in an irresistibly sumptuous baked French Toast, swathed in a seductive blueberry compote that whispers sweet nothings to your palate.

Butter a 9x13 inch dish seductively, anticipating the union of flavors.
Cut temptation into 10 slices of bread, then cube them into morsels of desire. Lavish the remaining slices with Neufchatel cheese, a creamy embrace.
Lay the slices down, cheese gazing upwards, in the dish, scatter the first wave of blueberries, then shower with bread cubes.
Whisk together milk, eggs, maple syrup, vanilla, and 1/4 cup sugar, then gently pour over the bread, covering all in a voluptuous mix. Let it sleep, covered, in the fridge, mingling flavors overnight.
Preheat the oven to 350 F (175 C). Mix nutmeg with the remaining sugar, sprinkle this sweet kiss over our bread. Cover with foil, and bake until set, 20-30 minutes.
While it cools, whisper cornstarch, water, and the last of the sugar into a simmer, thicken to your heart's content, then off the heat, fold in butter and the rest of the blueberries.
Serve the French Toast with a generous drizzle of the compote, each bite a promise of ecstasy.
